Meia noite – lua e sol juntos no horizonte

Pedalei com o sinal de alerta ligado. Não senti tonturas enquanto pedalei. Me senti disposto e mantive a velocidade normal. Quando parei para almoçar fiquei levemente enjoado. Nada que atrapalhasse, mas senti que não estava 100%. Isso também aconteceu nas pequenas paradas para foto, xixi, ou para comer alguma coisa.
O movimento de ciclistas em viagem começa a aumentar. Ontem no albergue conheci um casal, ele ingles e ela da Nova Zelandia e um suíço. O casal Ian e Jude fazem o mesmo trajeto que eu até Tromso. Lá a viagem deles termina.

Estou em Stave na ilha de Andoya. Cheguei por volta da 20h. No caminho deparei-me com um treinamento militar. Me pareceu que estavam preparando para lançar um torpedo ou qualquer coisa deste tipo. A imprensa estava no local. Quando perceberam que estava com minha câmera um soldado de longe fez sinal com a mão balançando o indicador negativamente.

Depois de tomar um banho e fazer meu lanche, dei uma rápida cochilada para ver o sol da meia noite mais uma vez. O céu estava limpo e foi lindo ver o sol de um lado e meia lua do outro. Não fazia idéia que a lua estava ali, discreta com a imponência do sol. Mais uma vez fiquei emocionado. Os dois grandes astros estão na minha janela agora. O sol, quase se esconde de trás da montanha. A lua quase desaparece no horizonte. São 0:48h. Um casal de gansos passeia no gramado.
Infelizmente minha câmera não esta funcionando. A esqueci do lado de fora, na La Maccina, e com o frio ela entra em pane. Já aconteceu algumas vezes, principalmente no início da viagem, mas em nenhuma ocasião tão importante como agora. Fiquei um pouco frustrado! Infelizmente, este momento não dividirei com vocês. Mas ficará guardado na minha lembrança para sempre.

Midnight –moon and sun together on the horizon

I travelled with the warning light on. I didn’t feel dizzy when I was pedaling. I felt well and kept the normal speed. When I stopped to have lunch I had some nausea. Nothing so bad, but I could notice I wasn’t 100% well yet. I also felt this when I made a short stop for a photo, go peeing or to eat something.
The movement of bikers travelling started to increase. Yesterday at the Hostel I met a couple and also a Swiss guy. The couple, Ian (British) and Jude(New Zealand) are doing the same route as I am to Tromso. Their trip will end there.
I am in Stave in Andoya Island. I got here at about 20pm. On the way I came upon a military training. It seemed to me that they were getting prepared to launch a missile or anything like this. Press was in the spot. When they noticed I had a camera, a soldier waved from far saying “no” with his finger.
After taking a bath and having a snack, I took a quick nap before I could see the midnight sun once more. The sky was clear and it was beautiful to see sun on one side and the moon on the other. I had no idea that the moon was there, discrete with the magnificence of the sun. Once more I was thrilled. I can see the two great stars out of my window now. The sun is almost hidden behind the mountain. The moon almost disappears on the horizon. It is 0.48 am. A geese couple walks on the grass.
Unfortunately my camera is not working. I forgot it outside, in La Maccina, and when it’s too cold it stops working. It has already happened a couple of times, especially in the beginning of the trip, but never in such an important occasion like this. I became really frustrated! Unfortunately, I won’t be able to share this moment with you. But it will be kept in my memory for ever.
